Team 62 will be taking a Field Trip to the University of Missouri-Columbia Museums to see some of their exhibits before the exhibits leave.
Students were given out permission slips today.  We are going to be needing chaperones.  (If you can help, make sure you mark on the permission slip that you can help.)

Remember:  Interim Progress Reports (IPR’s) come out today.  These are a snapshot of how your child is doing in each of their classes.  If you want to know more specific information, please make sure you contact the teacher.

Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences are next week, Thursday, Nov. 10th & Friday, Nov. 11th.  This year, we are hosting “open conferences”, and we are asking that students attend with their parents.  That means that parents/guardians will be able to speak to more than one teacher during their allotted time.  Please see the form below for further explaination.

IPR’s come out on Friday, September 30th.  Teachers though need to have their grades in on eschool by 8am on Wednesday.  Contact individual teachers about missing assignments, or work that needs to be made up.

FYI- teachers for the team are posting grades as soon as we can. Often times we collect homework or classwork and have an initial grade of “Y” (Yes) or “N” (No) for if they turned an assignment in.
Due to many computer glitches, grades are just now being entered in.

For the first couple of weeks, classroom expectations, procedures, and getting to know your child as a learner are part of the expectations, and no grades are taken for this.

If you have any questions, please contact the individual teacher for which grade you have in question.

Hello!  We want to thank you for joining us on schedule pick-up night.  (If you were not able to make it, no worries, but go check in with the counselor, Mr. Irwin, or the registrar, Ms. Gibler, to pick up your schedule before Thursday.)

A few things to know…

- There is some important information that you might need to know before you come to school on Thursday.  Clink on this link: Team 62 Pumas- Everything you will need to know to survive 2011-2012

- No you will not need to bring all your supplies in on Thursday.

-You will be assigned a locker partner from your 7th hour class, same gender.  We will open lockers & set-up on Friday.

- Please make sure you check out the supplemental supply list for our team.  It’s different from the general school list.  (No, you do not need all those spiral notebooks– just 2-3 of them.)  You also most likely will not need a huge binder to keep all your class folders in since you will have the opportunity to go to your locker in-between all classes.  (Click on the link for the list: Additional supplies to be added for Pumas- Team 62

- You do not need to bring your instruments until Monday, August 22.

- Arrive before 7:45am to the GYM, and the teachers will be in there to get you and make sure you go to the right class.
