Drama

Ms. Amy Drtina
Performing Arts is an introductory course in theatre and communication arts.
This class focuses on the use of the voice and body in the communication process, as well as in acting. The process of producing a play-theatre production-is covered, as well as some theatre history.
Different study units include speeches, storytelling, story drama, and short acting scenes. Some writing is incorporated in the class. Creative dramatics or “theatre games,” an improvisational process-centered form of drama, are included as well.
