  • Develop expectations to more fully develop a relationship with our Partners In Education
  • Continue to develop teacher behaviors/expectations that align with components of best practices in teaching; i.e. set goals, assess prior learning, develop strategies for introducing new knowledge, apply new knowledge, generalizing/summarizing at the end of lessons.

Data-driven Decisions – i.e. SWIS, Q-Card count, and point sheets, attendance, ODRs, anecdotal records, Curriculum-Based Measures, district assessments…

  • Include data that describes intensity, frequency and duration in IEPs for documentation  in present levels and progress towards goals
  • Utilize data as part of  the decision making for placement/services/transition, and necessary modifications/accommodations
  • Utilize data to identify and monitor students at the secondary and tertiary levels of need, to develop associated plans for groups identified or at Care Teams.
  • Utilize and collect necessary data for Functional Behavior Assessments.
