Students! All Media Center materials are due May 4th.  Books, calculators, and flash drives that are currently being used for classes are exempt from this deadline; these are due no later Friday, May 18th.

Stop by the Media Center April 16-20 to check out the Scholastic Book Fair.  This is a great place to pick up books for summer reading or to get a copy of your favorite read from this year. 

Cash and Credit Cards will both be accepted.  Stop by or email jpingrey@columbia.k12.mo.us with any questions

Join us in the Media Center on Friday, March 2 to celebrate Read Across America Day!

There will be book talks, movie trailers, treats, giveaways, and plenty of time and books to read. 

Stop by 1st-7th hours during your Study Hall or Advisory to celebrate reading.

Students and Faculty interested in checking out a Kindle Touch can now do so in the Media Center.  These eReading devices are preloaded with several “classic” literature titles, or students may use the device to check out an eBook from the Public Library. 

Students interested need to first come by and pick up a permission form that will be put on file for the remainder of the school year. 

Students interested in checking out eBooks from the public library will need their DBRL library card or number to set up an account. 

The check out period for the kindle is 14 days.
