Ms. Alpha Hart Lewis was the first and only woman superintendent of the former Boone County rural school system (1943-1951) and a teacher of children from 1913-1978. Take the Paris Rd./Route B exit, at the bottom of the exit turn right heading towards Hallsville.Follow Route B, you will pass Schneider Electric (formally Square D) and 3M. Immediately on your left will be Waco Rd. Turn left onto Waco Rd. and go straight (over the RR tracks and one stop sign) until you turn right in front of AHL school. From Providence Rd…go north on Providence Rd. to Vandiver Dr. and turn right on Vandiver. Follow Vandiver Dr. to Paris Rd./Route B and turn left onto Paris Rd./Route B. Follow Route B, you will pass Schneider Electric (formally Square D) and 3M. Immediately on your left will be Waco Rd. Turn left on Waco Rd. and follow it straight until you turn right in front of AHL school.
